Kington, originally built in 1840 as a stable and granary, is a comfortable family home offering quality bed and breakfast accommodation in a homely and relaxed atmosphere.

It is situated in a quiet, rural location, just east of the village of Longhorsley, six miles north of the market town of Morpeth and approximately 10 miles south of Alnwick. With the A1 and the A697 only 5 minutes away, it is ideally placed for guests traveling to and from Scotland and a perfect base for those of you who want to explore Northumberland.

Private parking is available in the courtyard at the front of the house and there is also a lock-up garage for motor bikes and cycles.

There are several pubs providing excellent food within a five mile radius of Kington, including The Shoulder of Mutton, a mile and a half away in the village of Longhorsley.

For golfers, Burgham Golf Club is less that half a mile away; from the double bedroom windows, you can almost see the fairway.

Open all year, you are guaranteed an extremely warm and friendly welcome at Kington and most of our guests tell us - 'it's like a home from home'
